Sharing Christmas

Westerlund, Kate (Author). Tharlet, Eve, (ill.).

Summary: It's Christmas time in the forest, but this year there isn't much reason for the animals to celebrate. It's been a cold, snowy winter, and the little deer Clara and her mother are worried about finding enough food. Her mother tells Clara to wish on a star, but she doesn't hold much hope for a happy Christmas. The next day more snow falls, but Clara hears the sound of bells in the distance, so she follows the sounds, gathering friends along the way, before discovering a large stash of nuts and berries for everyone to share.
