Thompson (contributing editor, Country Living magazine; coauthor, The Farm Chicks in the Kitchen) brings forth a lovely book on decorating for and celebrating Christmas. The bulk of the book is dedicated to crisp and expressive photographs, but Thompson also shares memories of holidays past, family traditions, and tips for adding that special little detail. A short section in the back presents holiday recipes, including those mentioned throughout the book. The book ends with removable stickers and cards intended for use in gift giving, which will probably be gone after the first checkout. I Would Give This to Friends or family who enjoy looking at Christmas decorations and those who like to decorate but need a little guidance on how to do it, particularly if their taste runs to country and antiques.
