Carl Reiner (1922-2020) was an 11-time Emmy Award-winning actor, writer, and director, perhaps best known for creating The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1965). Recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, Reiner wrote several books for adults including Enter Laughing, Continue Laughing, and My Anecdotal Life. Reiner also wrote a number of childrenâ s books including Tell Me a Scary Story⦠But Not Too Scary and Tell Me another Scary Story⦠But Not Too Scary. James Bennett is the illustrator of the New York Times bestselling Halloween by Jerry Seinfeld. A Hamilton King Award-winning artist, he has also illustrated for many major publications including Time, Sports Illustrated, and Mad magazine.
Carl Reiner is a 12-time Emmy winning writer, producer, director, and comedian who has written or starred in TV and movie classics such as The Dick van Dyke Show and The Jerk. Tell Me a Silly Story will be his third book just for kids.
